OROS : Blended Learning and social transformation

Event information

How can blended higher education programs contribute to social transformation in crisis situations?

In a world where humanitarian crises and natural disasters are becoming increasingly frequent, access to education for students in emergency situations is often compromised. Yet access to relevant  higher education is essential to maintain hope and prepare young people to rebuild and transform their communities.

Blended learning, which combines online and face-to-face learning, offers a promising solution to this challenge. But how can it truly transform the way we respond to educational crises?

Come and explore this crucial question on 21 November during our next webinar – OROS (Online RECI Open Space) – organised by the RECI Education in Emergencies (EiE) working group and hosted by Oula Abu-Amsha, Learning and Development Coordinator at the Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE). We will welcome our special guest Prof. Isabella Rega from Bournemouth University, an academic and practitioner working at the intersection of education, media and social change.
