RECI and FoBBIZ are Now RECI-FoBBIZ

Two Swiss networks long engaged in international cooperation in education and vocational skills development, FoBBIZ (Swiss Forum for Vocational Education and Training and International Cooperation) and RECI (Swiss Network for Education and International Cooperation), have decided to join forces and merge.

FoBBIZ and RECI both recognised the value of closer cooperation in the fields of education and international cooperation, of joining forces, exploit synergies and make their activities more efficient and effective.

This merger came into effect with the Extraordinary General Assembly on 14 October 2025, following a period of close collaboration throughout 2025.

Two Paths, One Common Vision
Over the years, FoBBIZ has brought together Swiss actors in vocational education and training (VET) and promoted international exchange around the dual vocational education system.
RECI, for its part, brings together a strong network of NGOs, universities, and experts working for inclusive and equitable education and lifelong learning in more than sixty countries.

By combining their expertise and commitment, RECI and FoBBIZ are creating a unique platform to strengthen Switzerland’s contribution to quality education and vocational skills development for all.
