Save the Children a publi\u00e9 un nouveau rapport intitul\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0The Price of Hope: Funding education for the world’s refugee children<\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0, qui met en lumi\u00e8re l’\u00e9tat actuel de l’\u00e9ducation des r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s en 2023. Le rapport \u00e9value les progr\u00e8s r\u00e9alis\u00e9s depuis le Forum mondial sur les r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s de 2019 et examine l’impact d’\u00e9v\u00e9nements tels que la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19 sur l’\u00e9ducation des r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Le rapport met l’accent sur le soutien financier n\u00e9cessaire pour garantir l’acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l’\u00e9ducation des enfants r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s. Il pr\u00e9sente une analyse montrant qu’en 2020, quatre des 14 principaux pays d’accueil de r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s \u00e0 revenu faible ou interm\u00e9diaire ont d\u00e9pens\u00e9 davantage pour le service de la dette ext\u00e9rieure que pour l’\u00e9ducation, ce qui repr\u00e9sente pr\u00e8s d’un tiers de ces pays. En outre, les pays \u00e0 revenu faible et interm\u00e9diaire parmi les 20 premi\u00e8res nations d’accueil de r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s ont pay\u00e9 plus de 23 milliards de dollars en paiements d’int\u00e9r\u00eats pour la seule dette ext\u00e9rieure en 2020. Ce montant serait suffisant pour scolariser chaque enfant r\u00e9fugi\u00e9 dans les pays \u00e0 revenu faible ou interm\u00e9diaire pendant pr\u00e8s de cinq ans.<\/p>\n

Le rapport appelle la communaut\u00e9 internationale \u00e0 se r\u00e9unir lors du Forum mondial sur les r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s de 2023 pour d\u00e9tailler la mani\u00e8re dont elle travaillera avec les gouvernements d’accueil des r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s pour mobiliser les fonds n\u00e9cessaires pour combler le d\u00e9ficit de financement afin de faire face au co\u00fbt annuel de 4,85 milliards de dollars US pour fournir une \u00e9ducation aux enfants r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s.<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
