Review of the RECI Thematic Day 2022:
Education for a Sustainable World
We are delighted about the great success of last November’s RECI Thematic Day on Education for a Sustainable World. Some 70 people took part in Bern at the Paul Klee Centre, and 50 people from more than 20 countries participated online. The participants enjoyed an inspiring debate with passionate speakers. Afterwards, they divided into different workshops, where they helped to shape and animate the discussions on current topics around Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4.7 and the interdependence between environment, human rights and education.
In each workshop, the participants formulated recommendations and resolutions concerning the SDG 4.7. These recommendations will be taken up by the Teacher Training for Quality Education (TTQE) working group. They will be systematised, transformed into concrete tools and distributed for application.
